Hello to you friends, and family. I am trying to join the world of blogging, in this case specifically, a travel blog, and more specifically, our 2019 trip to Barcelona and Italy. I like to write out new experiences as they happen, given my memory (that of a love-sick- mosquito) This is a personal blog sent primarily to a few friends. If you hate these, just delete it and I’ll never know the difference. Or tell me.
This is my first post; I’m using it to work out the wrinkles now, so please feel free to let me know how this works, or if you want me to delete you from the whole thing. No fault, no problem.
Lots of firsts. My first travel with only a tiny I-Pad, no laptop. (EEECK! This is also my first WordPress article so my whole learning experience on this platform is on trial. Big thanks to Lew, who was willing to navigate new technology for me. Thank you Lew- you are the best!
I decided to add photos – no more than five- if I have them on any given piece of our trip. Something new is always happening, even in familiar places.
Te plan this time: after a few days in lovely Barcelona, Spain, we aim ourselves for the Italian north for ten days.We then drive ourselves South toward Sicily, where we’ve never been before, featuring a Live Volcano, separate island, amazing history, different language. I’m a little nervous, also excited, with so much unknown there. Our weeks will be full, I’m thinking. We are in the air on the 16th of September.
Our accommodations vary, and so do we, as this trip is either 4, or 5, or 7 Lavezzi’s, depending on which section of the month we are together. (I’m counting Mr. Lew Lavezzi as one.hehehehe)
If you’re along for this writer’s journey, thank you for being my inspiration.
Gratefully, Judy
Hi Judy,
Thought that I had left a comment a few days ago, but don’t see it. Thank you for including me on another amazing travel adventure with you….the best travel companion and reporter ever!
I love that the latest technology–the iPad accompanies you and records sights both new and ancient. Bless you and Lew and all your family. I am so happy to be joining you, my amazing articulate, intrepid (and beautiful) friend!
