Dear Friends
I am writing to apologize. I didn’t write soon enough and some of you worried. It was my thought to not blog on you until I have met with the medical oncologist again, now that I have a pathology report, and we could figure out what all is next. That appointment is Wednesday. I am so sorry for not telling you right away that my pathology was negative (BIG CHEERS, and balloons) the lymph system remains pristine (or as virginal as a drainage system really get to be), the margins are clear, and apparently, no cancer now exists to bug poor Lois who has been a stalwart through all of this. She’s sore and complaining a bit about her treatment, but on the whole, she is happy to be getting well.
That is quite a remarkable relief I didn’t know I needed. It feels like I have gotten through phase one and now begin phase two. Yea – one more adventurous road ahead on which I don’t hold a map. But I will send you a Blognote afterward. Trust, Faith, and good friends — that what it’s all about.
I did not know people would feel as though I should have called to tell them, so please accept my apologies if I have caused you any worries. I am so surrounded by your friendship and affection, and very grateful for that.
Thank you, Judy
